Its durable stainless-steel housing and nickel-plated finish provide reliable locking performance for residential, commercial and industrial installations.
The electric rim lock features fail-secure operation, meaning the lock remains secured when electrical power is unavailable and releases when the required electrical unlocking pulse is applied. It can be operated using a key from outside, integrated push button from inside, or a compatible access control system.
With compatibility for RFID readers, access control keypads, video intercoms and remote-control systems, the EU-ERL12 provides a practical electric locking solution for gates and controlled entrances.

12V DC Electric Gate Lock
The EUROMATIC EU-ERL12 operates from a 12V DC power supply and is designed for electrically controlled gate and door locking. It can be connected to compatible access control equipment to provide convenient electronic unlocking.
Fail-Secure Electric Rim Lock
The EU-ERL12 uses a fail-secure locking configuration. During a power failure, the lock remains mechanically secured. When the appropriate 12V electrical pulse is supplied, the lock releases to allow access.
Fail-secure operation makes the lock suitable for security-focused gate and door applications, subject to applicable emergency-exit and building safety requirements.
Key, Push Button & Access Control Operation
